Strength and rigidity qualify carbon fibre reinforced plastics (CFRP) for all areas in which high mechanical loads occur, but the weight should remain low.

Unidirectional ( UD ) fabric is one in which main, long, structural fibers are oriented in one direction, held in place by secondary nonstructural stitching threads. Structural orientation can be in 0 or 90”. Unidirectional fabrics are offering the ability to place fibres in the component exactly where it is required and in the optimum quantity.

Hybrid fabrics are used wherever impact resistance or ballistic properties are required. In mixed fabrics with carbon fibers, the excellent properties – rigidity and impact resistance – of both fiber types meet.

PU composites are mainly found in the production of moulded parts resistant to bending. The skilful combination of materials puts the topic of lightweight construction into the spotlight (honeycomb technology applications). Sophisticated surface designs are supported by corresponding PU / UP resin systems. Thanks to the reduced component weight, moulded part applications are used in the automotive sector – and, with corresponding flame protection formulations, also in rail vehicle construction. With our CNC-fiber laying technlogy we can manufacture carbon preforms up to 2500x2000mm. That way producing composite parts in large dimensions will not be a problem. The usage of different fibers (carbon, glass and aramid) is possible too. Please contact us.
