ODE infrared detectors detect the infrared radiation of hot objects from 300° C to 2000 ° C. EGE ODE infrared detectors are designed for use under extreme conditions up to 350° C with optic fibre cables and attachment optics. The sensors provide a 4...20 mA output and have an additional freely adjustable switching threshold for the PNP switching output or relay output. The detectors are, for example, used to measure and monitor process temperatures in e.g. metal processing or glass manufacture.

The AN2000C Signal Conditioner & Display is designed to process and display signals coming from various types of transducers (weight, load, pressure, torque, etc.) that use standard strain-gauge bridges. It can also receive any signal within the range ±300mVDC coming from a shunt, a converter or any type of transmitter. The Conditioner provides selectable input ranges (max. ±300mV) and excitation voltages (5V, 10V) to accommodate cells of various types and sensitivities. Two programming methods allow scaling of the meter to operate in the desired engineering units. The basic instrument consists of a PCB assembly including the main board, the display and the power supply filter, to which the A/D conversion circuit and the input option are added. The functions of the basic instrument include the display of the input variable as well as the remote freezing of the display (HOLD), the reading of the stored minimum and maximum values (PEAK & VALLEY) and the TARE function with RESET.

Alloy 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy designed for use from cryogenic to elevated temperatures in the range of 2000°F (1093°C). The high nickel content of the alloy enables it to retain considerable resistance under reducing conditions and makes it resistant to corrosion by a number of organic and inorganic compounds. The nickel content gives it excellent resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking and also provides excellent resistance to alkaline solutions. Its chromium content gives the alloy resistance to sulphur compounds and various oxidizing environments. In strong oxidizing solutions like hot, concentrated nitric acid Alloy 600 has poor resistance. Alloy 600 is relatively un-attacked by the majority of neutral and alkaline salt solutions and is used in some caustic environments.
