The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old forms part of our Double Cask range which marries the classic Macallan style and the unmistakable sweetness of American oak. This is a fully rounded single malt in perfect balance, with flavors of honey, citrus, and ginger.

Grants – Select Reserve Scotch Whiskey – 750ml Grants is an iconic blended Scotch whisky brand from William Grant and Sons. The Select Reserve Whisky is an extraordinary amalgamation of some of the finest whiskies. It is a rare brew that embraces a matchless combination of sweet, rich and peat tastes in a single liquid. The end result is a distinct, multi-layered complexity that sets it apart. Subtle at first, then it reveals its rich, sweet, smoky character. Layers of fresh apples, pears and a little peach are swathed in creamy vanilla. Then comes the smoke. A gentle, lingering smoke reminiscent of beach BBQs, sophisticated and refined.

In 1886, William Grant fulfilled a lifelong ambition by building his own distillery. He named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley of the Deer, and on Christmas Day 1887 the first drop flowed from the stills. Today, still owned by William Grant’s family, Glenfiddich is the world’s leading single malt. Its 12 years of maturation in the finest Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, prior to being married together in oak tuns, creates a smoother harmonious taste.

Scotch fillet steak is prepared from a boneless beef rib set. The scotch fillet is found on the back of the animal and runs from the striploin (sirloin) to the chuck. Being a ‘support’ muscle not subjected to the heavy work of moving the animal around, scotch fillet steaks are tender, tasty, and moist and perform best with fast hot cooking methods such as pan-frying and barbecuing or stir-frying when thinly sliced.

The scotch fillet or cube roll sits between the chuck and the striploin (sirloin) muscles over the back of the animal and is a very tender, moist, and flavourful cut of beef perfect for a special roasting occasion. Given its tender nature, it can also be sliced into steaks to barbecue and pan-fry or strips to stir-fry.
