The one pole indoor used disconnector EME type MI-UI is based on the MI-UNEL family and has the following characteristics: Robust welded frame of punched bended steel, with a specific anti-corrosion coating. Mechanical endurance class M0; 1.000 close-open cycles. Contacts and blades in silverplated or tinplated electrolytic cupper or brass. Complete integrated motor drive, available in several supply voltages, with an electromagnetic clutch which allows normal manual operation with removable lever on the main shaft of the switch.

The switches with 2 poles are available up to 3 kW and with 4 poles up to 30 kW. It can be used during service or maintenance activities to prevent the activation of the motor. The forced open contacts make the switches also suitable as emergency switches to stop a motor or as enclosed main switches for individual electrical loads. The enclosure offers an IP65 protection.
