You can load and unload goods at any of our fourteen loading docks. These loading docks are strategically spaced across our grounds so that the distance between materials and docks is minimised. We have double-wide docks for when several containers need to be loaded or unloaded. That way, a new container is always ready and waiting, so you don’t waste a minute of time. Our employees complete training and coursework every semester to keep them up to date on legislation and best practices for cargo securing.

The FA-L automatic load/unload system is designed to keep pace with today’s high-speed fiber and CO2 laser cutting machines. It can unload a processed sheet and load the next sheet in just 40 seconds. By keeping a continuous, uninterrupted production flow, the system maximizes machine throughput. The FA-L is ideal for large-volume applications with common material type, thickness and size. MOVit Load-Assist automation (LA) offers two systems to increase laser cutting productivity: LA Load automatically transfers unprocessed sheets quickly and efficiently to the cutting machine shuttle table. LA Load/Unload automatically loads material and, during unmanned production, unloads cut sheets to an unloading station or a conveyor. The Extended Tool Magazine (ETM) for Strippit PX punch presses holds up to 40 additional tools and up to 400 tools with the use of indexable multitools. ETM adds tooling capacity, reduces tool changeover time, and increases the efficiency of punching operations. Tools can be loaded and unloaded while the machine is punching. For automated production, the ETM can be combined with a Flexible Automation system (FA-P) or a Compact Tower (CT-P) for loading/unloading, material storage and retrieval. The Compact Tower (CT-L) provides full capabilities for loading, unloading and storage of raw material and finished parts. This enables automated production from stored raw material to stacked finished parts. The CT-L system creates a productive, flexible manufacturing cell capable of operating “lights out.” An intuitive touch screen graphical user interface ensures operation of the CT-L is fast and efficient. HIGHLY FLEXIBLE AUTOMATION SYSTEM One of the most flexible automation systems available for punching. At Verkooijen, a specialised professional team manages the bulk-tanker unloading process. We can then temporarily store your goods in a silo, or pack them directly into the packaging of your choice. We can load your cargo into bulk tankers from every conceivable type of packaging: bags, big bags, octabins, silos, or containers. We load bulk tankers with plastic granules, regrind, and powders every day. Should your goods contain irregularities (angel hair, streamers, double pellets, lumps), we have a variety of sieves at your disposal to filter these deformities from your cargo. That helps to preserve the value of your lot, and thus your margin.
