A repair or overhaul of a pump generally consists of an Inspection, Repair/Modification and a final Report. Inspection The first step when repairing any pump is the inspection. Pump inspections include: Visual inspection Measuring axial positions and clearances Disassembly + visual inspection of parts Dimensional measurements Check of probes and sensors (if present) Oil sampling & check When the inspection is finished, an inspection report is drawn up with recommendations for repair. Execution of works After approval of the recommendations for repair, the execution of the repair / overhaul works begins. Detecting mechanical faults before they stop production Bearing and Machine Maintenance Industry runs on machinery. Bearings, pumps, electric motors, compressors, presses, gearboxes and much more. All of which can break unexpectedly, causing production to stop. When production stops your organization loses money. Few bearings make it to the end of their engineered lifecycle. This is due to poor workmanship, bad lubrication practices and neglect. Problems can even arise right after installation due poor installment of the machine. No two machines are the same. Across industry, machines operate under different loads, climates and conditions, making their maintenance requirements unpredictable. Many machines are still maintained on calendar based PM’s, while others are run-to-failure. Both strategies are wasteful.

Grease HT 300 is a grease based on bentone, suitable for use at very high temperatures with peaks up to 250°C. Due to the unique additive package, this grease is remarkably resistant to high pressure, which offers protection under heavy loads. Benefits For use on all machines (except fast-moving bearings) under high temperatures (with peaks up to 250°C), such as in drying furnaces and ovens, transport chain rollers, … Excellent adhesive properties. Not soluble in water.
