Pub crawl through Bruges by horse tram during 3 hours. Welcome by our guide/beer specialist on a location chosen by you in the center of Bruges (hotel, parking, station,..) and departure for a 3 hour pub crawl through Bruges (the capacity of the horse tram varies from 13 to 20 persons). On our tour we will pass along the most important sightseeing places of the city: Zand Square, St Saviour Cathedral, Market Square with Belfry, Burg Square with city hall,… of course our guide will give you some explanation. The route is mapped out in function of the available pubs where we make a stop (3 stops are included). If available following (historical) pubs will be visited: ‘café vlissinghe’ (1515), ‘De Garre’ and ‘Het Brugs Beertje’. Pub tour by horse tram with a beer dinner in a historical cave restaurant. Meet and greet by our guide-beerologist on the Square ‘Grote Markt’ ( or other place at wish) . Start of a three hour tour by horse-drawn tramcar . We pass the main historic highlights ( Market Square, cathedral, Groenplaats, …) and stop twice to taste some typical local beers in authentic pubs. In each pub, e.g ‘Het Waagstuk’, ‘Het Oud Arsenaal’, ‘De Vismijn’, we taste a regional beer. Also, enjoy the explanation about the Belgian beer culture by our beer expert. Afterwards, dinner in a historic cellar restaurant in the very town center near the cathedral. Feel at home in this unique location, a 15th century storehouse. A fun discovery tour of Ghent during 3 hours by making use of 3 different types of transport ! We start with a discovery tour of the historical city center of Ghent by horse carriage during 1 hour (capacity horse carriage: between 14 and 18 persons per carriage) We end our tour at the quay of the boat company situated along the beautiful Korenlei. By boat we make a guided tour during 40 minutes and see the mediaeval city through a different angle. Short guided walk direction the impressive Castle of the Counts where we board a historic tram for a 45-60 minutes drive during which we will cross the city centre and outskirts (Muide, Rabot, Coupure,…). You will be able to immerse yourself in the life of this world-famous surrealist painter (1897 – 1994). Not only do they show the largest collection anywhere of his work, but you’ll find many of his personal belongings as well. Delvaux admired women, trains and railway stations and the museum shows many of his model trains and artefacts. In Ostend we’ll visit the James Ensor house (1860 – 1949), where we’ll find an evocative exhibit of this major innovator of modern art in Belgium. Probably not… The first horse tramline opened in Antwerp on May 25, 1873. Part of this system is still available for tourists visiting Antwerp. After we pick up your group, your guide will share interesting facts about the sights you’ll see along the way. We’ll drive you to a trendy neighbourhood in the south of Antwerp, where you’ll visit a genuinely local brewery called ‘t Pakhuis. The building, a warehouse originally built in 1850, was recently transformed, and became the inspiration for this grand brewery.
