It also helps to tame frizz and mend split ends. Pequi pulp oil has different fatty acids in its chemical composition, including oleic (50%) and palmitic (44%) as well as myristic, palmitoleic, stearic, linoleic and linolenic fatty acids in smaller amounts. The fatty acids contained in the oil are very similar to those shown in the epidermis, which makes pequi oil great for formulation of biomimetic products because of the high compatibility ratio between cosmetic products and the skin.
