Quend® is an extra high strength structural steel with yield strengths between 700 and 1100 MPa. It is used for lightweight applications having to withstand high loads. Like Quard®, the Quend® plates are produced at NLMK Clabecq, where they are treated in a state-of-the-art Quenching and Tempering unit.
