Natural fibers have unique characteristics: high strength, low weight, comfortable, biodegradable, antistatic, carbon neutral, sustainable, good thermal and sound insulation properties and budget friendly. Therefore they are highly appreciated in a wide range of applications in non woven, spinning and many other industries.

Akopol geluidsabsorberende polyesterwol is gemaakt van gedeeltelijk gerecyclede polyestervezels afkomstig van gerecyclede PET-flessen. Polyesterwol bevat geen giftige of gevaarlijke stoffen. Contact met polyestervezels veroorzaakt geen allergische reacties of huidirritatie. Het materiaal maakt geen stof en heeft geen chemische bindmiddelen. Daarnaast is geluidsabsorberende polyesterwol vormvast en zeer elastisch.

Akopol sound-absorbing polyester wool is made from partially recycled polyester fibers originating from recycled PET bottles. Polyester wool contains no toxic or hazardous substances. Contact with polyester fibers does not cause allergic reactions or skin irritation. The material does not create dust and has no chemical binding agents. In addition, sound-absorbing polyester wool holds its shape and is highly elastic.
