The blood is dried into a powder before being packaged as a blood meal. The "meal" in blood meal refers to the dried blood ground into a powder. In this form, it is a high-nitrogen product for fertilizer and is a high-protein item used in animal feed.

Our calcium bolus Calcitop is a fast-acting calcium supplement designed to solve a calcium deficiency (hypocalcemia) around calving. This deficiency will cause a lower feed intake and milk production and could potentially lead to (subclinical) milk fever. Especially from the second calving and later cows are sensitive to it.
