Used for de-escalation therapy of serious infections of lower respiratory tract, intraabdominal infections, gynecological infections, skin and soft tissue infections, meningitis, septicemia, empiric treatment in patients with neutropenia, as monotherapy or in combination with antiviral or antifungal pharmaceutical products.
