The fast high-level palletizer is equipped with an empty pallet magazine and an outfeed system. A bag flattener at the beginning ensures that the bags are “in shape” for stacking. Currently there are three net weighers in our product portfolio. The differences are in the product feeding. Our weighers are equipped with gravity, belt or screw feeders depending on which product has to be weighed. The choice of product feeding depends primarily on how well the product is free flowing. Moderately flowing as well as powdery and fine products are rather weighed with belt or screw feeding, while free-flowing bulk goods are usually weighed with gravity feeding. As the name suggests, the FFS-Combi Version of the open-mouth bagging machines has an additional FFS module, allowing bags not only to be used from the bag magazine but also to be produced from tubular film. The patented bag closing system “Over Tape Bag Sealer” from STATEC BINDER seals woven polypropylene (PP) bags airtight. A woven PP tape is used for a reliable and secure closure. If necessary, the bags can also be sewn. Both pillow bags and gusset bags can be securely closed. This sealing technology facilitates the handling of dusty and odour-intensive products of the food and feed industry. During operation, the filled bags are transported to and from the bag closing system via a conveyor belt. A sensor detects the position of the bag and automatically puts it into the trimming area. After cutting the top edge of the bag a woven PP tape is applied over the open edge of the bag to seal it with hot air. The hot air to seal the bag airtight and odourless is produced by a heating unit in the machine.

Our product portfolio includes three manual bagging machines for open-mouth bags: SCALPAC-G, SCALPAC-B, SCALPAC-S. All three bagging systems are designed for up to 1200 bags per hour and differ only in the used net weighers. Depending on the product to be filled, a net weigher with gravity, belt or screw feeding is used. Prefabricated open-mouth bags made of woven PP, PE or paper are attached to the filling clamp and fixed by an employee. As soon as the bag is fixed, the weighed product flows into the bag. The high-performance sewing machine from STATEC BINDER stands for precise and reliable bag sealing of woven PP, paper or PE bags. Two different variants can be used for sewing the bags. On the one hand there is the straight-line bag infeed, in which the bag is fed to the sewing head by means of a belt drive and then sewn at the upper end. The second variant is the bag edge folding, in which the bag is folded at the upper end when it is pulled in and then sewn. In order to change from one system to the other, it is only necessary to replace a simple device. The bag to be sewn is fed to the sewing machine via one of the two variants mentioned above. Depending on the sewing speed and performance, the stitch length is between 7 and 12 mm. A cutter at the end cuts the thread. The sewing head is driven by a motor with frequency converter. A big advantage over the drive via belt pulleys is a more precise adjustment of the speed.
