Standard control panels provide safe and cost-effective system integration. If abnormal, unsafe conditions such as fires, high or low flowline pressure occur, the control system automatically activates well shut-in. The control panels are activated on site by operating a manual hydraulic pump that supplies hydraulic pressure to SSVs actuators, SCSSV and to the fusible/RESD loop charging circuit.

As there is no time definition as to when the electrical safety matting should be replaced unless an electrical shock has occurred then it should be replaced immediately. The flutes are also a useful indicator of when the rubber matting should be replaced – just keep an eye out for any signs of wear over time.
