Tender and semi-old olives

A young or semi-old olive tree refers to an olive tree with moderate maturation, which implies a tree with a smooth trunk. Regarding their shapes, depending on the pruning technique used, we find them in different formats: wild or natural shape, branched, plate/cloud, and ball or bushy. A young olive tree usually has a height that varies between 1 meter and 3 meters, depending on the time that has passed since its planting. In the semi-old stage, the olive tree can exceed 3 meters and approach adult height, which generally ranges between 5 and 10 meters. The trunk of a young olive tree is usually thinner compared to an adult olive tree. The branches may be developing and extending, but they have not yet reached the complexity and extent of a mature tree.
