Special Metal Doors - -Dimension of the tested leaf: 800 x 800 x 73 The leaf is composed of: - A frame made of 1.5mm thick electro-galvanized steel, shaped to create two symmetrical grooves for accommodating the insulating materials. - The covering is made using two sheets of 1.5mm thick electro-galvanized steel with edges folded at 180°. These are reinforced by the attachment of 1.5mm thick folded steel brackets, arranged horizontally to support the insulating mattresses. - The covering sheets are welded to the frame, providing significant torsional rigidity. - The insulating core is made using two 50mm thick rock wool mattresses with a density of 110kg/m³. An additional thermal screen with a thickness of 9mm is placed between the insulating mattresses. - The door edges are fitted with two distinct strips of insulating material.
