Chestnut flour is one of the gluten-free flours, with a texture most similar to that of wheat flour. It works excellently in homemade baking of all kinds, both sweet and savory. The aroma resembles that of nuts, and the flavor of the flour can have a slight sweetness. It has a low fat content and high carbohydrates and proteins, containing valuable fiber.
