The CryLaS lasers of the Q series are diode-pumped solid-state lasers (DPSS lasers) based on a microchip design. This consists of an Nd:YAG resonator with a directly coupled saturable absorber that functions as a passive Q-switch. The compact housing and simple operation make these lasers an optimal light source for applications that require minimal housing dimensions while delivering maximum performance. Based on the 1064 nm fundamental, frequency multiples of this fundamental oscillation are generated through nonlinear optics (NLO optics), covering a wide spectrum of laser wavelengths from 1064 nm to 213 nm. The DSS1064-Q3 laser emits pulses with approximately 1.5 ns pulse width at 1064 nm and is modifiable from single shot to 2.5 kHz. The pulse energy is 50 µJ. CryLaS lasers impress with easy installation, maintenance-free operation, and long lifespan. They are therefore ideal for OEM applications and demanding laboratory setups.
