The CryLaS High-Power Series lasers are diode-pumped solid-state lasers (DPSS lasers) based on a microchip design. This consists of an Nd:YAG resonator with a directly coupled saturable absorber that functions as a passive Q-switch. As the first development by CryLaS GmbH, these lasers have been extensively tested in industrial and scientific applications. They stand out for their reliability, particularly in the OEM sector, and offer high pulse powers with comparatively small housing dimensions. Through frequency conversion, the lasers are available from IR to DUV. The DSS1064-3000 laser delivers 2.5 mJ pulse energy at a repetition rate of 20 Hz and a pulse width of 2.5 ns, resulting in a pulse peak power of 1 MW. CryLaS lasers impress with easy installation, maintenance-free operation, and long lifespan. This makes them ideal for OEM applications and demanding laboratory setups.
