Special springs with a kinked spring characteristic

The spring is a special form of compression spring, where different pitches within the spring combine areas with soft and hard characteristics into a single component. Initially, the spring encompasses areas that exhibit a soft characteristic (large displacement, small force), and towards the end of the stroke, the hard areas of the spring also begin to engage (small displacement, large force). This allows for the realization of functionally integrated components that initially enable a large movement and, at the end of the stroke, dampen a mass over a short distance.
