One of our areas of focus is the production of packaging, which we manufacture in the broadest sense through forming processes via the deep-drawing method. We process material thicknesses of 0.2–12 mm on high-performance automatic rolling and sheet preparation machines. The maximum forming area is currently 1500 x 2400 mm. The vacuum forming technology is supplemented by post-processing techniques, such as pressing, milling, bending, gluing, welding, sealing, joining through to contract packaging. From the first design to CAD design, prototyping, moulding and through to the final packaged product, we also implement our customers' unusual requests. The trading company supplements this range of services with its own range of plastic injection moulding packaging and plastic pouches. We are also happy to provide custom solutions made from cardboard products, paper, sheet metal, non-woven fabric, nylon or wood.

Our metalising & spray painting factory was founded in the early 1990s, in Chester – almost 30 years of experience! Well equipped with a range of automated machinery & tool room where new tooling is worked on & repaired. Vacuum metallising, or PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition), is the process of physically plating a metal material onto a plastic part in a vacuum chamber. The evaporation of the metal occurs by metal wire being in contact with a heat source (electrically charged tungsten filament) in a closed chamber under high vacuum. The lack of pressure lowers the boiling point of the metal which causes the liquid metal to change to a gaseous phase. The metal vapour encounters the oxygen in the air forming a stable oxide layer on the surface of the components. This gives the component an environmentally friendly, decorative metallic coating (check out our Gallery to see finished products). Metallised plastic components can be recycled and is a great alternative to traditional metal shrouds or over-shelled options which can’t be easily separated for recycling. We deliver ourdoor recycling bins all over the world. Asterplast was set up in 2004, the first product we launched into the market were portable toilets produced by means of vacuum forming. At the beginning of our company’s activity it was the only product we manufactured. The equipment and accessories were manufactured, installed and specially fitted by our experts to produce portable toilets using the high quality parts and components (FESTO pneumatic cylinders, Irish infrared ceramic heaters etc.). As the time flies and new developments appear, the management of our company took a decision to diversify the range of products manufactured, to master and to apply new technologies.
