  1. WESTWOOD CARE & SUPPORT SERVICES

    United Kingdom

Westwood Care and Support Services was established in February 2011 by Lindsey Bratton (Nominated Individual). In late 2010 we were looking for care and support for a family member who has complex needs and we quickly realised that local companies offered care but only on a half hour basis. Ideally, we were looking for three to four hours of care at a time to help support our family member with access to local leisure activities. Believing we could make a difference to many by providing tailored care packages that fully meet the needs of both individuals and families across Hull, we decided that through our knowledge and experience we would form a company offering these care services. As a direct result of this, Westwood Care and Support Services Yorkshire Ltd was born. After launching the company we soon realised that there were many other people facing the same problems that we had when looking for suitable care providers. We have since grown from strength to strength and currently employ 80 staff (and growing) in a variety of roles within the community. We now have four teams delivering our care services across the whole of Hull. We have an East Hull Team, North Hull Team, Central Hull Team and West Hull Team. We also cover Hessle, Anlaby, Cottingham and surrounding villages in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

  2. ROTAJET SYSTEMS LTD.

    United Kingdom

Rotajet was started back in 2007 as a chemical degreasing company and throughout the years we have taken on larger and larger challenges. These years of growth have created a strong, multi-skilled team allowing us to diversify and tackle some of the largest problems the industry faces across the globe. From designing automated decontamination machinery; making it financially viable to reuse storage vessels, to creating integrated systems for recycling plastics economically. Rotajet has grown to become a powerhouse of manufacturing right here in Wakefield. Partnering with private businesses and academic institutions, Rotajet is leading the way in designing new manufacturing processes to combat the growing international epidemic of plastic pollution. Since 2019 we have been concentrating on the ISOPREP project which aims to combine mechanical and chemical recycling techniques in order to fundamentally change how we dispose of polypropylene carpet. We pride ourselves on creating intuitive solutions to your problems; no matter how complex they might be. If you have any operational difficulties not covered by our range of standardised machines, please get in contact with our technical team and we can discuss a bespoke system that is perfect for your individual situation.
