Selva is a Peruvian based exporter of raw & organic foods. The focus for the company is on cocoa products that are fine flavour and organic. Our team spends much of the year meeting directly with producers so we know exactly where the beans originate. Our strict batching system ensures that we have complete traceability from farmer to consumer. This shortened supply chain also ensures a great price for both the producer and consumer. In the EU, our range of products such as cacao, maca, chia, purple corn, quinoa, lucuma and many more are stored in our Soil Association certified warehouse. All products in stock can be dispatched the same day. Our current main product is working on organic cacao nibs, where we have capacity for over 500MT per year. These can be roasted or raw to a technical specification, depending on the required usage. Selva ingredients already appear on supermarket shelves in the UK. We can fulfil orders from 25kg up to full containers with all certification required. Selva can also provide white labelling for customers wanting retail ready products.

Our Organic Negin Red Saffron is grown and hand picked by farmers in the Bulgarian mountains, free of pollution, pesticides and fertilisers. Saffron is the most expensive spice, as it takes 150 flowers just to make 1 gram of Saffron. This leads to much of the Saffron on the market being fake. Tiny impurities can be included to make it heavier, or other plant stamens can have colour added to then be sold as Saffron. Indeed, even the best quality Saffron may not have been stored correctly, as if it is not in an airtight tin, the light will quickly destroy the colour, aroma and flavour. This is why we have our Saffron tested, and display the test certificate, to give you the peace of mind that you are buying the best quality product, as without this, how do you know what you are paying for, and what chemicals you are asking people to eat?
