Nicklin Transit Packaging are leading UK manufacturers and suppliers of wood (timber) and cardboard packaging and design services. Key products include large corrugated cardboard boxes and crates, wooden crates and cases, wooden pallets, glass stillages and A frames. We can also produce machined timber components and corrugated die cuts and fittings to your requirements. Off-the-shelf and bespoke packaging is available, using our packaging design services to create the custom packaging needed for your brand. We use 2D and 3D modelling as well as a Pallet Design System to ensure packaging meets your needs. All timber and cardboard products are sourced from responsible locations, with Chain of Custody certification along with ISPM15 compliance. Nicklin were one of the first companies in the UK able to meet ISPM15 requirements. In addition, we are able to offer Remote Trip Monitoring transport technology, enabling clients to monitor the events and conditions of cargo throughout the journey, worldwide. Before a watch is created, a group of concepts is rendered and presented to the client before progressing onto detailed technical drawings generated by our watch designers. Producing projects by using a combination of traditional and innovative approaches with our detailed knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, composition, how the product fits and market trends. Recent shifts in computer-aided design has opened the possibilities of working in 3D packages (Rhinoceros 3D) and 2D illustration techniques using Adobe CC. A CAD model is used as a basis for CNC or 3D printed models across a multitude of processes by our watch designers.
