Aileen Shackell Landscape Design is provides landscape architectural services across the country and within Europe for certain project types. Our practice is registered with the UK Landscape Institute. Aileen the practice Director has over 20 years experience in both the private and charitable sectors. We specialise in designing for play, for health and wellbeing, (NHS), and in projects with a focus on community-based regeneration. We also undertake Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments ad Landscape Appraisals for projects in areas of high landscape sensitivity. We also have extensive expertise in landscape conservation and restoration and have worked on UK properties owned and managed by both the National Trust and English Heritage, as well as those owned privately such as the Duke of Northumberland's Alnwick Castle and Syon Park. We act both as lead consultant on our own projects and as a sub-consultant on others, often assisting architects and planning consultants.

Welcome to Sunsets & Marshmallows, luxurious glamping in Devon, just north of Dartmoor on the outskirts of the village of Cheriton Bishop. Roughly 10 miles from Exeter. There is excellent access to the A30 and the M5. Dartmoor National Park is on the doorstep and the north and south coasts of this beautiful county are within easy reach. The site has 3 large 6 berth safari tents. Each tent will be well equipped and furnished to the highest standard offering you the creature comforts of a cottage but under canvas. Each tent has electricity, a full private bathroom with shower, wi-fi, its own private hot tub, barbecue, fire pit and picnic table. The tents are located in a 4 acre paddock and carefully positioned to offer each tent privacy and to enjoy the afternoon and evening sunshine. There are many places of interest, the nearest is Castle Drogo, a National Trust property. Castle and gardens are worth a visit and there are magnificent riverside walks and the Fingle Bridge pub is a good place for refreshment.
