TransDev is a family run business organised into four major operating areas: Distribution, Special Belts, Manufacturing and Plastics. TransDev’s Special Belts Division has the expertise and capabilities to fulfil the most exacting of belting briefs. State of the art equipment has enabled TransDev to manufacture some of the most complex belts ever made, many within microns of pitch accuracy. With its well established Poole, Dorset based manufacturing facilities, TransDev is the UK’s largest timing pulley manufacturer of Pulleys, Gear cutting and Sprockets. With a capacity from 4mm to 1 metre in diameter, we utilise manual and CNC machining, operating three shifts per day. Our plastics division machine components from sheet UHMWPe and are a major suppplier nationwide of such items as chain and belt guides, bespoke machined parts as well as engineering and display plastics. TransDev stocks linear ranges from two major brands, IKO and NTN-SNR. We can provide a complete solution for machine builders, users, and the trade. Our state of the art linear cutting production cell offers a quick turn around for all of your linear requirements. TransDev also has the technical expertise to assist on the most demanding projects, via our external Sales Engineers and Technical team.

We offer a personalised rotational moulding service and can produce unique products tailored to your business needs. Rotational moulding involves adding plastic powder to a mould, rotating it at high temperature, cooling it down and removing it from the mould. There’s usually some hand finishing too. But to us it’s more than this. We often get involved in the process of refining the design and some of our products are very complex with metal components moulded in. We take the time to understand what makes our customers tick and what you need from us. For some customers this means very tight control over the technical spec, perfect tooling and rigorous processes. For others it’s a simple moulding on a pallet, delivered on time. It could be a complex end product with many components including engineered and moulded parts. Don’t even want to see the product? We will ship it directly to your customers.
