Our goal is to help our customers switch away from fossil fuels and decrease their carbon footprint in an economically sensible way. We occupy the full breadth of the pellet supply chain from buying raw wood fibre and manufacturing wood pellets all within the UK. As one of the UK’s largest wood pellet manufacturers we can provide multi-year, fixed price fuel supply contracts. Our wood pellets only contain sustainable feedstock, sourced from UK forests, providing a reliable long-term fuel source to our customers. We are an accredited Biomass Suppliers’ List (BSL) source of wood pellets and use FSC® approved sources of wood fibre either in the form of sawmill co-products and surplus logs. We offer a quick and efficient delivery service which can transport bulk wood pellets direct to you in a variety of different formats and vehicles. Land Energy pellets come with our Energy Guarantee as standard. They are guaranteed to contain 4, 800KWh per tonne as delivered to you (this means the amount of energy we deliver to your premises in pellet form before it is burnt in your boiler). The pellets are measured on a net calorific value (CV) basis by an independent laboratory using the industry standard burn test EN14961. In the event that we fail to deliver our Energy Guarantee, we will deliver to you, at no cost, additional pellets to make up the shortfall in energy

As a sustainable supplier, we pride ourselves on processing and cultivating only the fast-growing acacia trees, which are ideal for all exterior projects due to their natural high density and resilience to adverse weather conditions. Sourced from European forests, acacia is an ecological hardwood which stands out for its low environmental impact (its low carbon footprint) compared to its exotic competitors which are becoming more expensive due to rising shipping costs. According to both the British Standards Institution (BSI) and the Commonwealth Standards Network (CSN), acacia is the only European wood species that falls under Use Class 4 and is accordingly suitable for outdoor use in contact with soil and fresh water since it exhibits good elasticity in terms of stiffness, flexural strength and environmental impact resistance, as per British Standard EN 335: 2013. Please note, Use Class 3 woods such as chestnut and hazel can also be used outdoors but they are not to come in contact with the ground. The natural durability of acacia’s heartwood against wood-destroying agents such as wood decay fungi, insects, marine borers and bacteria has been tested and assessed (considered in BS EN 350: 2016).
