    LANCASHIRE TEXTILE MANUFACTURERS’ ASSOCIATION is an employers association representing textile manufacturing businesses in Lancashire and the surrounding counties. Our activities include the provision of a comprehensive industrial relations and employment law advisory service. We also assist members in the areas of education, training and skills development including the provision of grant assistance. The Association keeps up to date with current political and legislative issues that have an impact on member companies in order to effectively lobby both local and national government. As a member of the United Kingdom Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT), the Association is able to pursue any concerns it has on government policy and legislation that affects the industry. UKFT conducts lobbying on behalf of the industry and has published a manifesto setting out it’s long term engagement with the UK government. The UKFT also supports the All Party Parliamentary Fashion and Textiles Group. We Buy Back your old uniform/workwear and recycle it. For every 100kg of clothing we credit clients £60. We want to ensure old textiles don't end up in landfills so provide a our customers with a solution to dispose of old uniforms in an environmentally friendly way. By offering a financial credit in return we want to incentivise customers to upgrade their new uniforms to buy quality garments made from more recycled fabrics.
