  1. VKB TECH

    United Kingdom

VKB Tech is a group of engineers who are passionate about Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and offer a comprehensive range of computer-aided engineering (CAE) services. We specialise in providing high quality and low cost FEA services including stress, dynamic, fatigue and fracture analysis with the use of commercial CAE software tools. Our engineers have years of practical experience working on various component designs in industries like aerospace, automotive and oil and gas. Our in-depth knowledge of material strength and solid mechanics allows us to simulate and verify components made from metals; including aluminium, steel, and titanium; plastics and composites. We help our clients to deliver better, faster and more efficient products by using reliable simulation results and applying multidisciplinary optimisation techniques. In addition, we provide support to your CAE engineers by offering FE modelling service (1D, 2D and 3D) which is dedicated to many industrial solvers including Ansys, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, NEi Nastran, Radioss and many others. By outsourcing pre-processing tasks to VKB Tech, your engineers can focus on their core expertise. Our engineers possess excellent knowledge of APDL, Python, and Tcl scripting so we can save your engineers’ time by simulation process automation and tool customisation. If you are looking for a reliable and experienced partner for your project please contact us to discuss how we can help you.

  2. SIEMENS PLM SOFTWARE

    United Kingdom

Simulation and Testing Solutions for Functional Performance Engineering Boylerplate: LMS Simulation and Test Solutions from Siemens PLM Software help manufacturing companies manage the complexities of tomorrow's product development by incorporating model-based mechatronic simulation and advanced testing solutions in the product development process. Our products and services tune into mission-critical engineering attributes, ranging from system dynamics, structural integrity and sound quality to durability, safety and power consumption. LMS products also address the complex engineering challenges associated with intelligent systems in the automotive and aerospace industries as well as in other advanced manufacturing industries.

  3. STAMPINGSIMULATION

    United Kingdom

Sheet metal forming simulation can help tool and die designers to build tools right the first time, saving large amounts of time and money. In this case, Malbern Engineering in South Africa had designed and fabricated a tool for a new automotive project. During initial tryout, the process formed the part successfully. However, once the tool was set for production, constant splits resulted. Initially, a forming simulation of the current process was performed, to determine if the splits were expected. The forming simulation result shows that indeed, the material is predicted to split. This is due to excessive thinning in the current process. "I decided to modify the 1st stage form tool as per your recommendation and as you can see from the photo’s the proposal was successful. Thank you very much for your input." Marco Smargiasso - Technical & Marketing Manager - Malben Engineering A modification to the pre-form process was proposed, using sheet metal forming simulation to enginee

  4. CTI WETCAST

    United Kingdom

CTI manufactures concrete machinery systems for the high volume production of wet cast decorative, landscape, and veneer stone products. Products feature a wide variety of surface textures, colour blends, and geometry that can both simulate, and imitate natural stone products used in landscape and building applications. Additionally, the landscape, patio, and other simulated stone products can take advantage of the variety of treatments available within wet cast moulds (made from ABS plastic, polyurethane, polypropylene, or latex rubber materials), while producing them in an automated and high efficiency production environment. Interior use products are now being produced with this equipment. While originally developed to ease the labour intensive processes normally associated with the production of wet cast patio slabs, our automation and equipment capabilities have evolved to provide benefits to a myriad of other wet cast products to increase production capacity
