Through collaborative working and training, our Thrive OTs can ensure each young person can participate and engage in a wide breadth of activities. From feeling safe, regulated, and ready to learn, to recognising body signals as clues to their emotions. We also work together to improve health and well-being so young people can engage in activities, develop essential life skills and scaffold learning opportunities. This could include holding a pencil or cutlery; improved attention using sensory supports; an adapted environment including appropriate seating; and to maintain self regulation to access learning and play.
