Nab Cottage was established in 1983, is accredited by the British Council and is a member of ARELS and the international network, TANDEM Location. The Lake District National Park, 2 hours north of Manchester Airport, contains the highest mountains and the biggest lakes in England. Rydal Water, in the centre of the park, is 3 km from the villages of Grasmere and Ambleside. The area is famous for its wonderful scenery - at all times of year the landscape is magnificent and the walking is superb.
