In 2005 LEC introduced its 'Mini Range' of products designed to cater for both Jetsetters and the Clubbing Generations with the convenience of carrying personal items, such as Hairsprays and Bodysprays. The principal business is the manufacturing of a variety of personal care products, mainly in the aerosol and liquids market. In addition to hairspray, hair mousse, body sprays and air fresheners. Other new products have been developed such as dry shampoo, hair shampoo, hair conditioner and body cream. We contract fill for many customers and fill products under our own brand name. We offer a range of filling, packing and labelling services with mixing and blending facilities for aerosol and liquid products. We export our products around the globe, from mixed cotton and t-shirt rags to the premium white cotton sheeting and white toweling wiping cloths. Our products run through an inline, food grade metal detection unit to ensure no metal gets into the rag wipers and causes injury to the operator. Our in house production facility in Manchester is ran by solar energy, this makes our products carbon neutral. Davis & Moore are a sustainable manufacturer of textile wipers, one of the few global companies that recycle 5500 tonnes of textiles per year. Private label option is available to clients. We can package the rags in boxes or boxes, our flexible approach ensures the customers requirements are fulfilled. Are your rags lint free? This is one of the most common questions we are asked. White sheeting and white linen wipers are classed as lint free as they leave very little residue behind. Coloured t-shirt grade is also low linting and is our most popular wiper from our standard range. Nearly every industry require wipers in some form, whether it's the basic coloured rags for wiping dirt and grime, or coloured toweling for mopping up oil and spills. Aerospace and precision engineering require the higher end polishing wipers such as the white sheeting, they don't leave any lint/fluff on the machinery parts.
