  2. BBK LABELLING & CODING SOLUTIONS LTD

    United Kingdom

Our range and labelling systems for the pharmaceutical sector include applications for bottles, vials, ampoules, pots, jars, tubes, dispensers, folding boxes, pens or syringes: Not only can the primary product be labelled and serialised but also the packaging which comes in a variety of formats, is often irregular, and is used in a range of application-specific ways. We know it can often be quite difficult to apply labels to their surfaces, as this must take place under controlled environments, such as clean rooms. We have dedicated project managers who can guide and if needed help compile everything from URS through to validation documents required to qualify the system. Serialization, aggregation, tracking and tracing and tamper-evident sealing are all increasingly important. A range of different technologies for printing, identification, labelling and checking - must be combined and coordinate in a confined area and still provide maximum reliability under the particular production conditions of every pharmaceutical manufacturer. The modular design of our BBK labelling systems make them ideal to cover this wide spectrum of products and applications in the pharmaceutical industry. High-performance printing, camera and control systems ensure that our labelling systems provide maximum reliability - up to and including controlled rejection of products or labels.

  3. CENTURION PACKAGING LTD

    United Kingdom

Centurion Packaging was founded on Centurion Way in Leyland, Lancashire in the mid 1970’s. The business distributed FIBC’s, polypropylene sacks and paper sacks. This was along side dedicated packaging for the emerging clothing recycling industry - balewraps, botany and box bags. Rapid expansion saw diversification into stretch film and wide width polythene in the company’s extrusion plant. The company was subsequently bought by MacFarlane Clansman and continued to prosper. In 2001 Centurion Packaging Limited was incorporated when the polypropylene division was acquired by Holrose Limited - the current owners. The company is now based in Golborne, Warrington, Cheshire. Using the historic products as a base the business has flourished. It has expanded into more upmarket sectors and now supplies FIBC’s, flat sacks, packaging for recycling and container liners for food distribution around the world. In house printing capabilities mean that many of the lighter weight products can be sold with specific company logos if required. There are also facilities for the valeting and repair of FIBC’s so that they can be reused. In recent years the company has also established a production sewing unit which can offer bespoke bags and covers, rework and commission sewing.
