Whaleys was founded in 1869 by Samuel Whaley, producing textile sacks and bags and weaving with silk and jute. Since then, we've built up our reputation in the fabric industry, and over twenty years ago the Whaleys Stages brand was born. All it took was one enquiry from a regular customer requesting a pair of Front of House drapes and the rest is history. We seized the opportunity of a gap in the textile market, and have gone on to produce bespoke stage curtains and theatre drapes for clients all around the world.
