K & M Vehicle Services are a small family owned business specialising in the acquisition, preparation and shipment of a comprehensive range of new and used trucks, semi-trailers of all types, plant and machinery, 4 x 4s and cars. All supported by a complete back up service of new and used spare parts supplied either singly or by the container load. Freight quotations covering conventional, Ro Ro, or container services by request. All negotiated rates are passed to our customers on a net basis. K&M maintain a good stock of new and used Volvo & DAF truck spares. We can offer a direct express courier with less urgent supplies going by sea or air Freight. A further option for bulky or volume shipments is via ISO container.

Nab Cottage, English Language in the Lakes, is a small international community. Teachers, facilitators and language students live together in Ambleside, in the English Lake District. It is an inspiring place to learn English. Our students are all independent adults looking for an intensive, humanistic and expressive approach to learning. Our vision has been to create an environment where people feel confident, relaxed and happy. Our methods are varied and challenging. The emphasis is always on communication. Classes average 5 people. The course is experiential and, after class, it involves activities, peer learning and the wider community. Everything is designed to activate language. The course is fully residential at Nab Cottage. Nab Cottage is situated on the shore of Rydal Water, surrounded by mountains in the centre of the Lake District National Park, the most beautiful corner of England. Nab Cottage was established in 1983, is accredited by the British Council and is a member of ARELS and the international network, TANDEM Location. The Lake District National Park, 2 hours north of Manchester Airport, contains the highest mountains and the biggest lakes in England. Rydal Water, in the centre of the park, is 3 km from the villages of Grasmere and Ambleside. The area is famous for its wonderful scenery - at all times of year the landscape is magnificent and the walking is superb.
