In 1993, America’s largest cheque printer, the Deluxe Corporation, expanded their operation into the UK to develop the European market.The Corporation’s professionalism and dedication to producing high quality cheques resulted in Deluxe (UK) Ltd becoming one of the first Cheque and Credit Clearing Company (formally APACS) accredited printers in 1995.In 1997 the UK operations were consolidated, resulting in a Management Buy Out when the business was renamed Checkprint Ltd.The premises in Hinckley, Leicestershire, were acquired, from where the company continues to base operations, utilising a highly skilled workforce of over 50 people, and benefiting from loyal customer relationships.In 2000, Checkprint’s first year as part of the TALL Group, the company doubled the size of their premises.Checkprint Ltd has managed the Barclays Special Cheque and Credit Service since 1994 and the company has established and developed significant contracts with many other leading financial institutions.

For over 25 years QED Scientific has been supplying quality warming equipment for use in operating theatres. OPERATING THEATRES This includes UK manufactured cabinets for warming bottles and bags of fluid, cotton blankets and bottles of contrast media used in CT scanner rooms. This range has won us awards for innovation. We also sell patient warming mattresses for adults and neonates. MATERNITY In maternity we sell advanced neonate incubators, phototherapy lamps and jaundice meters. PHARMACY Storage of pharmaceuticals in a medical setting has allowed us to help our customers reduce waste and maintain more accurate storage records. We manufacture controlled room temperature (CRT) storage cabinets that maintain the internal temperature below 25C, thereby slowing down the rate of product degradation. All versions of CRT cabinet are manufactured in the UK. Our standard CRT cabinets are designed for routine medications where there is no security risk. MED-CRT range are wall mounted steel cabinets that have compliant design to BS2881 as well as BS3621 compliant locks. These cabinets can also have an internal controlled drugs cabinet. CD-CRT cabinets are designed to be wall mounted and hold larger quantities of controlled drugs. These are designed to comply with BS2881 and have BS3621 locks fitted. LABORATORY In pathology blood banking we supply blood fridges, plasma freezers, dry plasma thawers and platelet incubators with high quality agitators. We are accredited to ISO9001: 2015
