The company has it’s origins as the creator of dline signs, launched in 1999 as part of the dline classic series of building fittings which include the award winning (world’s first) stainless steel ironmongery, originated by Danish architect Knud Holscher in 1971. We operate in the UK but work with clients both in the UK and globally. Our signs feature in hospitals, universities, schools, offices and modern architecture. Our patented range of signage products include Jigsaw, Puzzle and Folio and our range of signage systems can be fixed to any number of materials to help give architects and specifiers real choice when creating the signage package. Our UK based manufacturing team work to tight timescales and offer complete signage solutions to clients big and small. We bring together our passion and creativity, supported by technical expertise to analyse, debate and explore, developing individual and thoughtful architectural responses to every project.

Selden Research Ltd develops and manufactures cleaning and hygiene chemicals for both the professional and retail sectors. Products are made available both under the widely recognised and respected Selden brands, and private label. We regularly make bespoke formulas for clients and pride ourselves in our ability to develop products to the highest levels of performance experienced in the cleaning industry. The original purpose built factory has undergone numerous extensions to its present 73, 000 sq ft. A further 10 acre site (just across the road) with 80, 000 sq ft was purchased in 1999, this has been partially redeveloped with 24, 000 sq ft remaining and currently in use, housing our British Institue of Cleaning Science approved training centre, and additional warehousing. further development of this site is being undertaken in Winter 2006 to accommodate the acquision of the Decosol range of winter car care products such as screen wash and de icer. Selden's commitment to quality in all aspects of goods and services led us to seek and gain BS5750 part 2 ISO9001 accreditation in June 1992. Never content to stand still the company was awarded the environmental standard ISO 14001 in May 2006. This accreditation is backed up by the IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention Control) environmental management system monitored and policed by the environment agency accurately demonstrating Selden's total commitment to the environment.
