  1. HEAVYTORQUE MAGAZINE

    United Kingdom

The heavy and abnormal transport sector, and the heavy lifting industry, waited a long time for a dedicated magazine and website that addresses the special issues they face. HEAVY TORQUE was launched in January 2015 to fill that demand and has quickly become the authoritative voice of the industry. HEAVY TORQUE provides a fresh approach to the issues that affect abnormal load and lifting specialists. The magazine and website are full of interesting and informative news, technical features, interviews, case studies, expert comment and analysis, and essential market information and legislation updates. HEAVY TORQUE’s quarterly magazine is written by carefully selected, independent journalists who understand the business. Their expertise spans everything from renewables, power generation, oil and gas to heavy lifting, heavy engineering, rail, construction, plant and machinery, civil engineering and infrastructure. We test drive new vehicles from all the heavy truck and trailer manufacturers, and talk to the development engineers responsible for new and innovative components. Case studies and company profiles ensure that we cover current operational trends and the latest trucks, trailers and heavy lift equipment. We also report from key European exhibitions and shows, and cover innovations in the industry around the world. HEAVY TORQUE is published by Nimble Publishing Ltd, and proudly supports the Freight Transport Association (FTA) and the Heavy Transport Association (HTA).
