Earlybirds was established in Australia in 2002, following the birth of founder Lynda Day's son who was ten weeks premature weighing 1.2 kgs/3 pounds. Lynda experienced enormous difficulty finding clothes to fit her baby during his first few months. To alleviate this problem for other parents and carers, Lynda decided to develop a range of clothing specifically for premature and small babies. After much research involving Paediatricians, NICU specialists and parents, the Earlybirds collection was born. As premature babies' needs are different, great care has been taken in selecting designs and materials to ensure maximum comfort and ease of dressing. The highest quality fabrics have been sourced and thoroughly tested. There are two ranges, Sunnydays made from 100% natural cotton and Organics made from 100% certified organic cotton – incubator suits, jumpsuits, hats, booties and more - Earlybirds premature baby clothes fit properly and come in sizes from 800gm to newborn (4.5kgs).
