    The Else Group took its first step in the textile sector with Else Textile Inc., which began production in 1996 with an open end yarn facility. In 2003, it established the ring yarn plant and secured its position in this challenging and ever-changing sector. Their investment in the textile sector expanded with the establishment of a knitted fabric facility and a yarn dying plant in 2007.The first phase of its new international investment strategy—a cotton yarn and woven fabric manufacturing facility, including a cotton ginnery with an area of 60, 000 square meters—was built on a 120, 000 square meter indoor area in a 200, 000 square meter site in Nazareth (Adama), Ethiopia.
