The history of the brand began when its founders decided that jewellery accessories should attract attention not only with their beauty, but also with the greatness of the idea embedded in them. Since 2003, NIKA has aimed to ensure the “Made in Russia” label is associated with quality, reliability and appealing design. Currently, highly skilled craftsmen produce unique gold and silver watches. Although, in former times, it all started with a small independent manufacture that combined all sorts of people - experienced entrepreneurs and businessmen, creative artists and, of course, watchmakers. They did not stand aside during the closure of the watch factories, nor when valuable personnel and unique equipment were not in demand. For the purpose of preserving and enhancing the experience of working under the Soviet watch brands, the founders of NIKA saw the need to purchase machines and production lines, as well as organising new jobs for these skilled professionals. The NIKA brand encompasses priceless experience, and sustains the traditions that have opened up a new start for watchmaking in Russia. The success story of the NIKA Watch Factory is accomplished by the success story of these people.
