CAWA-TRANS is a family business with 15 skilled and motivated employees. As a customer, you therefore enjoy individual support, flexibility and professional advice. Founded in 1988, the company focused on transport in the south of Europe from the outset. A new aspect here was the concept of loading transport goods directly from and to Basel. This omits the need for the costly and time-consuming process of forwarding the goods to the Swiss-Italian border. Furthermore, at an early stage, they used combined transport (road/rail) in order to reduce the impact on streets and the environment. Thanks to a merger with three additional forwarding companies to become Eurotraffic AG, major customers are also served comprehensively and with combined forces. Since 2001, CAWA-TRANS AG has offered their own EU customs clearances – a pioneering service among Swiss SMEs in the forwarding industry! We regularly travel to Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Germany and Turkey with consolidated cargo and complete loads for you.
