The company designs and produces jewelry, fashion accessories (beach bags, sunglasses and other summer complements) and home decoration. The main brand concept compiles maritime spirit and atmosphere, which is reflected in all details. Design of each product is based on sea theme and its variations. All accessories are handcrafted and produced using recycled aluminium and wood. Ernesto de Barcelona owns two brand shops in Barcelona area and wholesales its collections around EU and to Canada.

The Istituto Europeo di Design opened its seat in the city of Barcelona in 2002 and it currently is one of the reference centers in design education, eminently recognized at national and international level.IED Barcelona Escola Superior de Disseny is the most international and multicultural education center in Spain; the 65% of its students are foreigners and a 36% of its courses are imparted in English.
