Finca La Gramanosa, produce and control all the process of the oil, from the own fields, to the costumer, we have 240 hectares of olives trees in Barcelona and Tarragona. Our extra virgin olive oil is recollected at beginning of October, is a cold extraction, (under 25ºC), and it give us a very green flavored, bitter and spicy evoo. Green almond, fresh grass, tomato, lettuce and artichoke, are the most expressive flavors of our extra virgin olive oil. The predominant variety is Arbequina in 90%, Picual is a 5%, and the other one 5%, is Hojiblanca, Nocellara del Belice, Biancolilla and Cerasuola. The olive oil is conserved under nitrogen atmosphere during his storage, to fight against the oxygen and temperature controlled. We won a lot of prizes around the world, China, Japan, New York, California, Italy, France, Greece, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom... Year per year we are looking, for a best quality of the oil, to put our mill on the top of the best mills of the world. We are searching a distribution chain to sell our high quality extra virgin olive oil in United Kingdom and around the Europe.

Vivers JM Vidal is a nursery specialized in the cultivation of olive trees from Spain. We produce and distribute all sorts of varieties of olive trees throughout Spain, arriving at consolidated level, as well as by different parts of the world. We manage and control all stages of plant growth: 1 From the production of cuttings with roots in paper pots, into specialized rooms irrigation. 2 Plant them in pots of 7x7x8cm, where they grow in the greenhouses until to get a good size. 3 Finally they pass to processes of pruning and quality controls. We have an external technical department that performs rigorous quality controls of the mother plants and it controls the quality of the olive trees we produce in the nursery.The team of the Dept. of Agriculture of Catalonia Government come to the company, minimum once per year, to control that the mother plants are free of pests and verify that we make a proper use of pesticides. It also does regular chacks to control the origin and varieties.

We are a small cooperative, located in the heart of Montsià region (Spain), dedicated to production and marketing of olive oil coming exclusively from our members ’own harvest olives. Our production is mainly made with olives of the Morruda, Sevillenca and Farga varieties, all of which originate from the geographical area in the south of the province of Tarragona and the north of the province of Castellón and are protected by the Protected Designation of Origin Aceite del Baix Ebre-Montsià, to which we have belonged since its creation. We also have oils of other varieties such as Picual, Empeltre and Arbequina, of great quality. We have 177 olive trees with millennial certification. We market our "Lacrima OLEA - Milenaria", an extra virgin oil made exclusively with olives of the Farga variety from olive trees catalogued as millenary

ARBEQUINA I SECCIÓ DE CRÈDIT

The arbequina is a variety of olive tree. The variety is native to the village of Arbeca, Lleida, in the region of Les Garrigues, which gave it its name. This variety is considered one of the best in the world, both for its production and regularity and for the quality of its oil. It is a very productive variety. The ripening date is medium, from the first fortnight of November. The fruits of the olive are small, spherical, symmetrical and are clustered. They are black when ripe and have no lenticels on the skin of the fruit. It is self-fertile. Its fruits do not ripen simultaneously, and it has a medium resistance to detachment. The Arbequina cooperative is one of the Arbequina oil producers with a protected Denomination of Origin “Les Garrigues Oil”, controlled by the DOP Les Garrigues Regulatory Council based in Lleida. It is the first denomination of origin of oil recognized in the Spanish territory (1975), certified in 1996 by the European Union as PDO, recognizing the excellent quality of Catalan olive oil.
