The aim is to provide a local solution and increase the awareness of inhabitants with regard to donating and collecting textiles. Over 60% of textile waste can be reused. The remainder is recycled for use at the beginning of the textile industry. To achieve this aim, once collected and sorted with buttons zips, velcro strips and soles removed, the textiles are mechanically recycled.
