We are a Brighton based Architectural Lighting Design practice which supports a creative design methodology with a solid background in Light and Lighting fundamentals. The results are visually striking spaces that balance the use of leading technology with compliance with the latest energy codes. The practice has collaborated with renowned designers from a range of different countries and cultures. This provides us with a unique experience in a variety of projects such as: restaurants, high end residential, art galleries, retail and commercial offices. We have also designed bespoke luminaire solutions for specific projects. Our passion for lighting keeps us aware of how lighting is applied in different disciplines, this ranges from Photography, Cinema, Theatre and Fine Arts with particular interest to the work of James Turrell. Finally we believe that it is possible to achieve fine results in lighting whilst minimising impact on the environment.

Lights for visual inspection: In addition to solutions using cameras and image processing, it is often still necessary to have test objects visually inspected and evaluated by employees. Our luminaires are specially adapted to the needs and applications relating to such manual inspection tasks. A clear distinction must be made as to whether the test parts are tested and classified by humans or by a camera. With handling by humans, the light intensity, the light colour, the light quality, the arrangement of the luminaires, and the possibility of adapting to the person play a much greater role than in industrial image processing. Our many years of experience in the field of light boxes for the inspection of slides and in monitoring in the printing industry is of great benefit to us here.
