Jersey Oak maintains strong links with the local community. We have received a Platinum Development Award from Skills Jersey in recognition of our work offering trainee programmes, apprenticeships and work experience to young people, students and those with special needs. Environmentally-conscious we offset our carbon footprint through Durrell and are accredited as a member of the Jersey Eco-Active Business Group. Furthermore, we ensure our suppliers share our values. FSC-certified hardwood is better than carbon neutral - the amount of CO2 produced by the tree is significantly less than that required to convert it into a building material; and a fraction of emissions generated by steel and brick production.
