We're an independent, British owned, wholly UK based business and our staff collectively have over 125 years of collective experience in medical supplies. After over 14 years of supplying the NHS and private hospitals with medical equipment and accessories, Omnimed Ltd responded to changing public health needs and have diversified into providing fast, affordable and regulated COVID-19 rapid lateral flow tests for the public. This is the first of many high quality, affordable home and healthcare products we will bring to UK consumers. Our lateral flow tests are UK Government Validated. The tests can be found under REF ICOV-802H/146360601 on the Government's list of approved products for COVID-19 testing. Our lateral flow tests do not require the use of nasal/throat swabs which many find uncomfortable and difficult to use. They just require a simple saliva sample, making them ideal for children, the elderly or those with conditions which make nasal or throat swabs particularly uncomfortable or distressing. With concerns over the UK market being flooded with unregulated lateral flow tests, particularly from online sellers, Omnimed has been keen to take swift action to give the UK public a safe, affordable and comfortable option that is also easy to use, in order to detect COVID-19.
