Somani produces for 3 business segments Toweling and home products , clothing – Women, Kids and baby and nursery products ( accessories , decoration, bed, bath and baby garments ) In Baby wear and Nursery products we offer a unique service. In this segment we work 360º producing from accessories, soft toys, decoration to clothing, a wide range of products with the possibility to coordinate different fabrics, techniques and products under the same story/concept. Somani has an internal design team constantly working in new materials, fabrics, shapes and products, helping customers to build integrated and coordinated collections. Sustainability is ingrained in all our activities, processes, and strategies. We reject any social or greenwashing practices and prioritize delivering economic value along with our commitment to People, Planet, Community Support, Innovation, and Governance. Somani researches and uses sustainable raw materials, including recycled and organic yarns, with certifications such as GOTS, OCS, RCS, GRS, FSC, and Oeko-tex Standard 100. We reduce our production impact to promote biodiversity.

Têxteis Evaristo Sampaio S.A. began its business back in 1940, by setting up a small manual spinning and weaving mill next to the river, so it could be powered by the running water. In 1970, this small traditional unit became a sole proprietorship, and in 1982 the company Têxteis Evaristo Sampaio S.A., was formed. That is the reason why we enjoy a great tradition in the market. Sited in a region with a significant tradition of textile industry, we have developed our business in the home fabrics sub-sector of the textile sector, manufacturing wool fabrics, processing the raw material, making fibres and yarns, and producing blankets and covers for the final market. At present, we are, without any doubt, one of the most modern manufacturing units of the home fabrics sub-sector having the most up to date technology, an indoor working area of over 20, 000 m2 and a production capacity of 1, 000, 000 metres of fabric and 2500, 000 kg of thread per year: We have 40 employers.
