On the technical side, we have Co-extrusion equipment, high-quality printing press 8 colors, solvent-less lamination, and the most advanced bag-making machines to produce controlled atmosphere products (MAP), BIO Degradable BAGS, and much more. We also aim to produce thermoplastic flexible films and packaging, especially for primary uses, especially in the food sector. In addition, we have the best-qualified persons we can get on the human side. Our main goal is to work side by side with our customers, find the best possible solution for their packaging needs, and find and develop new products. Our Company stands for environmental protection and to achieve this goal. For example, we do our recycling indoors to ensure that every single plastic waste from our production is given a second life in our production process. TECNICOLA was based in the industrial area of Grijó in 1970 to manufacture latex compounds for the carpet industry. In a short period of time, the latex compounds would stop being imported, covering the need of the Portuguese market. In mid-1976, it’s manufacture and development was derived from the sector of qualified textile coatings and aqueous glues for all the sectors of industry. With the imposition of the market, TECNICOLA developed its line of activity for the distribution of chemical products, namely dyes, pigments and auxiliaries for INDUSTRIA TEXTIL, including the market for dyeing and printing companies. In 1981 another new company was created the designation of IMPOCOLOR. As a producer and marketer of chemicals, we currently have a structure set up of laboratories due to the particularity of this business, with the objective of developing and applying appropriate solutions to each client, ensuring a quality control capable of responding to market requirements nationally and internationally. In the area of the environment, it promotes a policy that is responsible and consistent with the applicable legislation, treating, sorting and disposing of all its waste, including industrial effluents, for that purpose built a ETARI with a daily treatment capacity of about 70 tonnes. In 2011 it inaugurated a new department with the aim of developing and producing innovative products for the coating of furniture, COATING.
